dear diary,
wonders they say shall never end..was
talking with some friends and churches and their styles and it refreshed
my memory on my experience at one of the famous and biggest churches in
Port Harcourt, Salvation Ministries. They had just concluded the 'five
nights of glory' which I attended through an invitation from a
colleague, and they were having a special section on Sunday, in this
section, our 'expectation forms' were to be brought and submitted,
hmmmmm....it was not a funny one as my friend who joined me from my own
church and I got to the church but could not get in because, the third
service was far gone and we were asked to wait for the 4th
service...deep breath! even in waiting, it wasn't a cozy, from the
squashing sun to the crowd and the hurting in my feet to the fact i got a
little tanned that day! finally, it was time to get in for the 4th
service and it was obviously meant to be a survival of the fittest...i
bet that folks got missing during services..lol...my friend and I
practically had to hold hands to avoid losing each other, yet we
eventually got to a stampede and there was serious chaos to get in,
members and guests and intending members in crowd were all struggling to
get in the main auditorium while the protocol officers did their own
jobs and tried to stop the pandemonium but the crowd seemed rather
uncontrollable and my friend fell, trying to protect my shoes which were
pulling off from a hit form behind, i also saw myself on the ground!
oops! now do not laff ooo...though i wasn't flat on the floor, i was
conscious of my beautiful barbie lady like outfit...i got up laffn and
not believing what had happened to me! finally, we grabbed a sit and
there came this 'usher' who couldn't be there to usher me in ooo who
started disturbing me to change my seat because my skirt was short! oh
yeah? my below the knee skirt even with a pair of panty socks to cover
my already long skirts? smh....i even agreed to follow her and get
another seat oo as i didn't want ant distraction from the praise, word
and man of God, that man is a gift! And so, this usher kept taking me
from one seat to another and no one wanted to change their seats for
reasons best known to them. but then, why blame them, they managed to
get a seat and you wanna move them? i raked oooo because it was
annoying, just then, someone who had it right showed up and rescued the
situation.....oh! wahala!
i finally prayed and submitted my
expectation form, only to return to my church, TRP, the rest place
church of God mission intl. and guess the breaking news???? hehehehe...i
could not contain it! just when i was planning to withdraw and do
things differently, i got an appointment in church! this people!
.....i know itchy ears....story continues

dear diary,
i have been misunderstood a whole lot in my lifetime, sometime, it got me wondering if I were the problem....but NO! i aint oooo....here is what I do, i try to do the right things, act professional, stand for the just, fight a just cause and I know I am really smart, no boasting but hey, why should I be afraid to accept and showcase a gift endowed by God huh? to make you feel less intimidated? oh come on!
Some say, 'this country doesn't suit you, your mindset doesn't work here' oh yeah? in my dressing, i command a presence with little or no efforts, with my ideas, style and attitude, i command a presence..*SMILING* amma bring that change, trust me, naturally, i am influential and i know i have this irresistible charm and no matter how much they try to hate and argue with my ideas, they still go back to trying it out in my absence! so I asked, could it be that you are afraid to give me credit? lol...if that is the problem, then we are good! just keep on and do what is right! change for the best is what i desire and that i s what i will get! i am not afraid to be called a 'troublemaker' and in fact only trouble makers are able to achieve change, e.g Legendary Nelson 'TROUBLEMAKER' Mandela, Martin Lurther King etc so here i am, the next troublemaker on the block/blog.....lol *WINKS*

Dear diary,
And I attended my 1st music class today! *clearing my throat * and I was behind the scheduled time tho..no thanks to PH traffic o. Walking in changed the atmosphere, I could even feel my presence ...
I could read all the thoughts as the rest of the class kept taking turns to look in my way..lol..well..i have got that effect *winks* some expressed, 'what are you doing here' others couldn't help showing their insecurities and asked me, 'are you visiting'? My response was, 'no dear, I have come to stay' *tongue out*
Well, I had a good time and guess what, it was even the birthday celebration of one of the members and it was indeed a pleasurable class with an opportunity to make someone's special day count, a moment to always remember! An honourable welcome if you ask me..and as for y'all who didn't welcome me well..dont worry, you have nothing to fear!b. Or maybe you do! Lol..*winks*
Aii...gotta go! catchya!

dear diary,
look what i found....
in fact this made my day! to think that homosexuality is been tolerated and almost celebrated in the world today is what I would rather call a 'misfortune' and is rather perplexing! only a few days ago, via facebook, I and a few other still sane people had a huge and lengthy argument with someone who thinks that Mr. president's action of threatening to imprison any homosexual caught is too extreme! oh yeah? wonders shall never end! the devil indeed seems to have some sort of little patronage which if not corrected may grow to something serious...
here is what I have to say and thanks to this reminder and God bless the medium through which it is spread...read on....
Someone in person of Ikenna Elezua, had some boldness to use the social media to challenge the act of Mr. President and after he didn't exactly get the support he desperately needed, he twisted the statement trying to explain that he meant that 14 years jail is too much, a punishment for the innocent' Now what is the future of our world if the youths of today start to be defensive about evil and wanna polish it to look good? By one man, sin came to this world, by one man its been spreading and now by one man, who is ignorant, been gay wanna be polished to not look so bad...check his page out and see all the controversies! Now I found this! Lev. 20:13, even God said they should be killed, now, let's say, that was in the old testament before Christ died and paid the sacrifice for our sins and we are here under GRACE! It didn't change the fact that homosexuality is an abomination, it still is and would forever be! But it is Grace that has kept us and that is why rather than dying on the spot when we sin, we still serve our time till we fully repent! And the time for such disgust is 14 years! I stand by Mr. President for standing his ground! Someone has got to it and it came from the right place! We are Nigerians and inspite of our shortcomings, we are still SANE enough to not condone this sort of abomination as described in the word of God! Long live the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria! Long live Nigeria!
